• What types of signals can the pancake slip ring transmit?

   
  In addition to transmitting power and control signals, these slip ring is also suitable for high-frequency signals, RF signals (frequency range up to GHz level). It is also compatible with most existing signal protocols of most devices (such as RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, USB, etc.).
• How do you ensure stable signal transmission?

   
  Our pancake slip rings use precious metal brush materials and gold-plated and silver-plated copper conductive rings to improve contact stability. We also use a multi-channel design for them and add filtering circuits to the circuit design to reduce high-frequency interference signals in complex environments.
• How much attenuation do they have?

   
  The degree of signal attenuation varies depending on the signal frequency and transmission distance. For low-frequency signals (such as less than 1kHz), these slip rings have almost negligible attenuation at regular transmission distances (such as within 10 meters). For high-frequency signals (such as above 100MHz), the attenuation may be around 0.1dB per meter of transmission distance.
• Are these slip rings customizable?

   
  Yes, we supply the pancake slip ring connectors with customized specifications for you. These include, for example, special numbers of channels, signal combinations, dimensions or higher protection classes. However, delivery times may be longer than for standard products.
